Finnmark FD-2 Infrared Sauna: Size, Power and Setup Checklist

Check the fit before you order: the space, the delivery path from the curb, and the electrical circuit.

If you’re considering a two-person infrared sauna, the practical questions usually come before style: Will it fit? Can it get from the curb into your home? Can your electrical setup support it? This guide walks through those three checks for the Finnmark FD-2, using the published specifications and store policies.

What We Haven’t Done

HUONGMMO PICKS has not personally tested the Finnmark FD-2. This guide is based on Topture’s FD-2 product page, Topture’s shipping and refund policies, and Finnmark’s FD-2 installation manual. We don’t make health claims about sauna use.

Before ordering, confirm these figures for the unit being supplied, and follow the manual that comes with it.

1 · Will it fit the room?

Start with the exterior size, then add the clearance and room to open the cabin door. Topture’s FD-2 page and the FD-2 manual list at least 3″ of clearance above the cabin and on each side.

2 · Can it get from the curb to the room?

Topture lists free standard shipping to the 48 contiguous U.S. states, and standard delivery is curbside, so plan how the package will get from the curb to the install room. If your address is outside the 48 contiguous states, ask Topture about delivery before you order.

Topture lists the shipping package at 78″ × 36″ × 50″ and 441 lb. These figures are for the package, not for the largest panel inside it, and they don’t tell you whether it will fit through your doorways and turns. Compare them with your measurements, and ask Topture before ordering if anything looks tight.

Walkway or driveway: surface, slope and width for a hand truck and helpers
Outside steps: number of steps, and any railings or tight landings
Front door: clear width and height with the door fully open
Hallway: narrowest width along the route
Turns and corners: space to pivot a 78″-long package
Room door and any interior stairs: clear width, height and headroom
If the package looks too big for any point on the route, ask Topture how the FD-2 can be brought in before you order

3 · Confirm the electrical circuit

Topture’s FD-2 requirement

“Dedicated” refers to the circuit: it serves only the sauna. Whether your home already has such a circuit at the install spot is something a qualified, licensed electrician can confirm.

Before ordering,have a qualified, licensed electrician confirm that your home can meet this requirement, and follow the manual that comes with your unit. This guide doesn’t give wiring instructions.

Delivery, damage, returns and installation: know this before you order

Short summaries of Topture’s current policies. Read the full policy at each link before you buy, because terms can change.

On arrival

Inspect the packaging before you sign.
If you see damage: write a specific description of it on the delivery paperwork.
If you don’t see damage:Topture’s policy says to sign with the note “SUBJECT TO INSPECTION.”
Within 24 hours of delivery: photograph and report any damage to Topture, whether you see it on arrival or find it after unpacking (concealed damage).
Within 48 hours of delivery: report any missing parts.
Keep all the packaging until any claim or return is settled.

Plan to unpack and inspect within 24 hours of delivery — concealed damage must be reported in that window, even if installation happens later.

Returns (general policy)

Request a return within 30 days of delivery.
Eligible items must be new, unassembled, not connected to power, and in their original packaging.
A restocking fee of at least 25% applies, plus applicable shipping costs.
This is Topture’s general policy. Before ordering, confirm with Topture which return terms apply to your FD-2 order, including whether it is final sale or made to order.

Installation

Warranty

Cabin: 10 years for indoor residential use.
Heaters, LED lighting and controls: Topture’s FD-2 page and the warranty PDF linked from it currently list different coverage periods. Before ordering, confirm with Topture which written warranty applies to your FD-2 order.
